New Zealand teams feature regularly at the 3×3 (pronounced 3-ex-3) World Cup and now the 3×3 Asia Cup, in both men’s and women’s categories. We continue to punch above our weight on the 3×3 court, below several incredible achievements over the years:

- 2015 – U18 3×3 Men World Championships winners
- 2018 – 3×3 Tall Ferns won the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup
- 2018 – U18 3×3 Men won the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup
- 2019 – U18 3×3 Women World Cup(Runners Up),
- 2022 – Men’s Asia Cup(Runners Up),
- 2023 – Men’s Asia Cup(Bronze Medal),
- Ìý2023 – Women’s Asia Cup(Runners Up).
- 2023 – Trans-Tasman 3×3 Series Champions,
- 2024 – Women’s Asia Cup(Runners Up),
- 2024 – U23 Men and Women won U23 Nations League (Asia Conference -1),
- 2025 – Men’s Asia Cup(Bronze Medal),
- 2025 – U23 Men won the U23 Nations League (Asia-Pacific Conference),
- 2025 – U21 Men won the U21 Nations League (Asia-Pacific Conference).
In June 2017, the International Olympic Committee named 3×3 an Olympic sport.
